Deviations
In a reality wherein Optimus Prime killed Megatron in 2005, Starscream ascended to Decepticon leadership and thus was present to strike a deal with Unicron. The Chaos Bringer upgraded Starscream into Megascream in exchange for the promised destruction of the Matrix of Leadership.
Soon thereafter, when Optimus spearheaded the Autobot attack on Unicron's surface, he was met by the new Decepticon leader, who demanded that Prime turn over the Matrix so that Megascream could destroy Unicron himself. A brawl ensued; Megascream revealed the full extent of his upgrades by combining with Soundwave, Astrotrain, Dirge, and Thrust to form a gigantic warrior. The gestalt Megascream easily crushed and injured Optimus beneath his fist before seizing the Matrix. At the last moment, the stowaway Hot Rod intervened, snatching the Matrix away from the Decepticon leader and opening it. The ensuing explosion destroyed Unicron, with Megascream, his underlings, and Hot Rod all lost in the blast. Deviations

An giant and immensed combiner, this Starscream combiner is the result of the original Starscream using the enigma of combination on its own. Assembling Devastator, Victorion,and the already-dead Menasor and Computron as his limbs, the giant Starscream combiner emerged, but soon collapsed into a more distorted form and began attacking the city. He was, in the end, seized by Windblade using Metroplex's hand and being blasted to death with Optimus Prime using Megatron's gun mode, with all his limbs freed.A War of Giants Darkest Hour Destruction's Dawn

- Power of the Primes Voyager Class Starscream can be linked with any four compatible Combiner Wars Deluxe Class figures to form an unnamed combiner. Starscream's instructions and TakaraTomy stock photos depict the Combiner formed from the wave 1 Power of the Primes Deluxe Class figures, with Slug and Jazz as the left and right arms, respectively, and Swoop and Dreadwind as the left and right legs, respectively. By contrast, the Combiner art on the side of Starscream and Dreadwind's packaging shows Blackwing and Dreadwind as the left and right arms, respectively, and Sinnertwin and Blot as the left and right legs, respectively.
- As a Power of the Primes Combiner, a Prime Master, Matrix core, or Enigma can be installed within the Starscream Combiner's chest, hands, or feet, such as the "Seeker Enigma" that comes packed with Starscream.
Notes
- The Power of the Primes toyline never gave a name for the Combiner formed by Starscream (nor for that matter, the Inferno Combiner). Though it has not appeared in fiction thus far, this wiki operates under the assumption that the gestalt form has its own consciousness as most Combiners do. By contrast, Transformers: Deviations and Combiner Wars does not assign a separate characterization to Starscream's combiner mode, being more along the lines of Grand Scourge.
- Initial plans (or an optional possible use) for the Combiner Wars Cyclonus mold would have used an alternate head as Starscream, with the Galvatronus combiner torso being decoed as "King Starscream".
