The somewhat redundantly-named Mt Fuji Foothills Hang Gliding Competition Tournament is a televised hang gliding competition.

The Hang Gliding Competition awards a team prize for best combined score, and two individual prizes for best record of the competition.

The International School where the Autobot Headmaster Juniors go to school sends a team to the event.

The Decepticon Headmaster Junior Cancer saw coverage of the 17th Mt Fuji Hang Gliding event on NTV, and suggested to Blood that it would make a good target for scaring people.

Blood showed off by disabling the gliders in mid-air, including the one flown by the Autobot Headmaster Junior Cab.
