- Shockwave is a Decepticon from the EarthSpark continuity family.
Years ago, Shockwave served as one of Megatron's top lieutenants during the war. His ambitions, however, eventually outgrew Megatron's once noble goals. To Shockwave, the weak should serve the strong, and the war necessary to enforce the glory of the Decepticon empire. To this end, Shockwave toils away in his lab, plotting to conquer not only Cybertron, but Earth as well. Only through Megatron's change of heart and defection was the mad scientist defeated.
These days, Shockwave is thankfully frozen in stasis below what is now the Space Bridge Memorial Park. Who knows what twisted machinations he might get up to should he ever be set free.

- "Deluxe Class" Shockwave is a repaint of his Cyberverse deluxe figure in colors referencing his Action Master toy, but lacks the effect parts of that release. Being a repaint of his Cyberverse figure also unfortunately means he is fairly inaccurate to his appearance in the cartoon proper.
