The name or term "Jetstorm" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Jetstorm (disambiguation).
Jetstorm is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Further proof that impulsive, action-hungry kids will save us all.

Extreme risk? Jetstorm is up for it! The youngest of the Aquaspeeders, there's nothing he loves more than charging right into the thick of things and getting his sparkplugs firing. His superiors might be a bit more down on his thrill-seeking ways if they didn't work so often. He's a smart kid, always thinking up new defensive measures sure to surprise any Decepticon unlucky enough to fall into them. Backed with a powerful and exceptionally accurate hydro-cannon, he's ready to take on any attacker.

Jetstorm, with other Autobots, oversaw an attempt to wipe the Combatrons' Destronger programming. However, before they could be reprogrammed, Unicron interrupted the process and whisked away the Combatrons. Ruination Chapter, Part One

Maaaaaaybe you shouldn't have your ammo tank be the bright yellow thing that's the tallest, least-protected part of your profile. Just a thought.
  • Jetstorm (Aquaspeeder, 1993)
    • Accessories: Water cannon
Jetstorm transforms into a red and yellow Peugeot 405 T16 rally car. His hood section is coated in heat-sensitive paint, turning pale on contact with cold water... but with the amount of stickers on him, that's not really a good idea. He has a long water-squirting rifle that becomes his front light rack and rear spoiler in car mode.
Jetstorm was only available in various European markets during the two-year "transitional" period marking the changeover from the original toyline to Generation 2; in the original line's final year (1993), the toys were given redesigned Autobot and Decepticon symbols, but it wasn't until 1994 that "Generation 2" appeared on the packaging.
This mold was also used to make the Color Changer Gobots.

Generation 2

  • Jetstorm (Aquaspeeder, 1994)
    • Accessories: Water cannon
This release is identical to the original, only this time in packaging specifically branded "Generation 2". This packaging variant appears to be extremely rare.

Notes

  • Jetstorm's decals suggest that he's ready for the Paris-Dakar Rally, one of the world's toughest off-road endurance races.
