Jazz's here to rock.

Synopsis

One evening, while out on a drive with Bumblebee, Jazz remarks that a peaceful evening like tonight deserves some rock 'n' roll! As he pulls out a guitar and unleashes a killer riff, a local band asks him if he'd like to perform on stage with them. As Bumblebee watches, the four take the stage and prepare to warm up the crowd... only for an annoyed Optimus Prime to interrupt the concert, remind Jazz that he's an Autobot first, and order the pair to get back to work!

Notes

• This comic was published in the May 2021 issue of TV Magazine and advertised the Studio Series '86 Jazz and Hot Rod toys.
• It was re-run as the second January 2022 issue of the bi-monthly web comic, again advertising Jazz's Studio Series '86 toy.

Transformers references

• Jazz debuts here with a body based on his Studio Series '86 toy being advertised.
• Jazz's bass guitar skills might be a reference to John Barber's version of Jazz in IDW's Robots in Disguise and Optimus Prime comics, which established his proficiency with the Aghartan electro-bass.
