Sledge (G1)
| The name or term "Sledge" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Sledge (disambiguation). |
- Sledge is a Decepticon Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sledge is a warrior first, and a builder a distant second. While his construction work is professional, his first joy in life is scrapping his enemies. Like his teammate Stonecruncher, he displays a surprising amount of loyalty to the Constructor Squad. Despite his intelligence, he's lacking in imagination, and isn't really a designer by nature, so his teammates usually need to touch-up his work. He's also not good at focusing his attention on more than one thing at a time. His combiner partner is Hammer.[1]

The Transformers

- Constructor Squad (Micromaster Combiner Squad, 1990)
- The Transformers Sledge transforms into the front half of an orange dump truck which is intended to be combined with his partner Hammer to form a complete
sledgehammerdump truck. He can, of course, be connected to any other Micromaster Combiner.
- Sledge was only available in a six-pack with his squad mates Hammer, Excavator, Grit, Knockout and Stonecruncher.
- This mold was also used to make Cement-Head.
- Dump Shovel W Team (Micro Trailer team, 1991)
- ID number: C-367
- Accessories: Micro Trailer #7
- Sledge is physically identical to the Hasbro-release Decepticon Sledge, transforming into the front half of a dump truck. He can, of course, be connected to any other Micromaster Combiner. Though Hammer nominally forms the front half, Sledge can combine with any other Micromaster Combiner, Combiner Transport or Micro Trailer in vehicle mode to form new weird vehicles.
- He was only available in a complete set with Hammer, Grit, and Knockout. The set also comes with Micro Trailer #7. Like all Return of Convoy characters, he was marketed as an Autobot instead of a Decepticon.
Notes
- In Dreamwave's More than Meets the Eye encyclopedia, Sledge is depicted flipped left-to-right. (His combiner pin is on the wrong side.)
