Convoy Council
The Convoy Council (コンボイ評議会 Konboi Hyōgikai) is the ruling organization of the Maximals on Cybertron. They commune with the mega-computer Vector Sigma and carry out its will, handing down orders to generals of a Convoy ranking. The foremost member of the council is Great Convoy.

According to Vector Prime, Reverse Convoy was an Autobot vassal of the Convoy Council in the G1 World. His peers included Lio Convoy, Fire Convoy, and Galaxy Convoy. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/07/14 The Convoy Council assigned Fire Convoy to lead the Dimensional Patrol to pursue the Destrongers to the year 2000. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/09/10 Lio Convoy, now a high-ranking member of the Council, left his home reality, traveling through Gargent 984.08 Alpha and eventually becoming a member of the Convoy in Nexus 208.0 Epsilon before arriving in a Uniend universe to assist the local Autobots against Unicron. In the 34th century C.E., the Convoy Council were in charge of the Commandrons, the successors to the Maximals.
It was the council who declared no Cybertronian would ever leave the Milky Way Galaxy after the disastrous encounter with the Ammonites, to avoid attracting the attention of "lions, tigers and bears" (oh my!), as Megalo Convoy put it. When the stolen ship Terrastar left the Milky Way Galaxy in contravention of this, the council unanimously ordered Astral Knight to take his colony ship, the Hyperborea, after it. - The Convoy Council is only properly named in the Beast Wars Neo comic's epilogue. Western misunderstanding conflates this term with the Great Convoys of the Beast Wars Neo cartoon, and this led to Ask Vector Prime's answers using this misconception.
