No, it is not capable of turning your small superpowered animal friend into a bigger, stronger friend.

The Emberstone is the artifact of Quintus Prime. It has the ability to seed the explosion of living processes in base elements, akin to Primus's own spark.

Fiction

The Covenant of Primus

The life-giving powers of the Emberstone worked into the Thirteen's plan to attack Unicron. Optimus Prime's spark was uniquely akin to that of Primus, and therefore an anathema to Unicron. During the mission, Vector Prime teleported Optimus into Unicron's spark chamber, causing both beings to shut down as they rejected each other. The Liege Maximo and Vector arranged a time-loop that would preserve Unicron in this state of hibernation perpetually, and Quintus Prime's Emberstone was used to restore Optimus.

After the war, Quintus made an alliance with Maximo and Megatronus, using the Emberstone to create new, smaller Cybertronian lifeforms. These beasts ultimately proved to be a major catalyst in the downfall of the Thirteen.

When the Era of Primes came to a close, Quintus Prime left Cybertron, intending to use the Emberstone to seed new worlds with life, creating cousins for the new Cybertronians that would emerge from the Well of All Sparks. It would later be used to create the Quintessons. The Covenant of Primus

The "gift" of Quintus Prime, after helping establish Cybertron's culture, Quintus left his homeworld, using the Emberstone to seed life on planets across the universe. The Emberstone eventually wound up on Earth beneath the land that would one day become Witwicky, Pennsylvania. Age of Evolution, Part 1

In the modern era, after the Autobots and Decepticons had come to Earth, the human siblings Robby and Mo Malto fell into the Emberstone's cave. After knocking it off its pedestal, the siblings replaced the Emberstone, causing it to activate, creating Twitch and Thrash from a pool of water and bestowing cyber-sleeves upon the humans to guide the newborn Terrans. Secret Legacy, Part 1

When Optimus Prime was informed how the Terrans had come into being, he recognized the Emberstone's powers from legend, having the Terrans and Maltos retrieve it for him. After he explained its capabilities, the relic was teleported out his hand by Skywarp. Twitch recovered it, and Optimus ordered the Maltos to retreat and protect it. Falling back to the cave, the family, outnumbered by Arachnamechs, appealed to Quintus for aid. Heeding their call, the Emberstone created Hashtag, Jawbreaker and Nightshade before Nova Storm's missile barrage caused a cave-in. In the subsequent chaos, Mo lost her hold on the Emberstone, sending it flying into the pool. Age of Evolution, Part 1

Sometime after this, G.H.O.S.T. was able to retrieve the Emberstone, with Croft personally delivering the artifact to Mandroid. Shortly after she left, Mandroid installed the Emberstone into his harness, the stone teleporting him to Quintus Prime's orbiting starship where he found the Maltos, brought there by Quintus to stop Mandroid. Using the Emberstone, Mandroid was able to control the ship, setting it on a crash landing for Earth. While Alex and Dot Malto tried to course-correct, Mo fought off Mandroid, the Emberstone reacting to her cyber-sleeve and allowing her to manifest new weapons to match his armor. When Mandroid nearly executed Robby, Mo channelled the Emberstone's power to briefly stop time, prying the artifact from Mandroid's chest. In an ethereal landspace where she spoke to Quintus, the Emberstone was digitized and stored in Mo's cyber-sleeve. Prime Time

When Mandroid used an ancient tower to deactivate every Cybertronian on Earth, Robby and Mo summoned the Emberstone via their cyber-sleeves, using the tower to spread its energy across the planet and revive all the Transformers. The Emberstone seemed to crack and explode into energy, leaving its condition uncertain. The Last Hope, Part 2
