In an altered reality, planet Zi replaced Lithone during the Unicron War. Thusly, Zi was destroyed by Unicron, leaving Crank and Cut-Up as the last survivors. Echoes and Fragments

Notes

  • Planet Zi (惑星Zi (ズィー) Wakusei Zī) is the setting of the Zoids anime. The association of the Starriors characters with it is likely a reference to Starriors being a spinoff of Zoids in toy terms, though the two Tomy lines are unconnected in story or setting.
  • Legacy toyline personnel Ben MacCrae and Mark Maher lampshaded the heavy Zoids influence that went into the beast mode of Legacy: United Thundertron by offering that the pirate had crash landed on the Zoid homeworld of Planet Zi and scanned one of the franchise's trademark ligers.[1]
