When the Entropy Cloud began terrorizing Microspace, several workers at the port joined the "World-Death Pool", where they bet on which planets would next be destroyed.

The Micronauts based themselves on Micropolis-12, doing odd jobs for cash. After the death of Saqqura, Oz Rael learned of the World-Death Pool and, much to Phenolo-Phi's annoyance, he and Acroyear engaged them in melee combat. As recompense, Hezlee Ferro had the Micronauts peform another job for him, stealing "medical supplies" from the Valtricos Research Station with Larissa going with them as insurance. Micronauts #1
