My Nezha and Transformers

My Nezha and Transformers (我的哪吒与变形金刚 Wǒ de Nézhā yǔ Biànxíng Jīngāng) is an upcoming computer-animated cartoon for the Chinese market, a joint effort between Allspark Animation and China Central Television (CCTV). The series is an original story that combines the casts of Transformers: Cyberverse and the 2003 cartoon The Legend of Nezha, a previous CCTV production.
Fifty-two 11-minute episodes are set to be produced. According to former Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner, broadcast stations outside of China had also expressed interest in taking on the show,[1] but no international distribution announcements have been made.
The series was originally announced in 2017 under the title Nezha: Transformers. Following the release of a trailer in December 2019,[2] the series vanished without a trace, presumably due to development complications from the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, with many assuming it had been totally cancelled. However, a new trailer suddenly emerged in August 2024, revealing the show's new title of My Nezha and Transformers and that the series would be airing later in the year. Further information is still pending, but we're just as shocked this thing is actually coming out as you are.
Storyline
The series follows Xiaozha, a young boy with an active imagination who has dreams of becoming a hero like Nezha. One night, the spacebridge drawing on his wall creates a portal, and he is pulled through it to another world. There, he meets Nezha and the Autobots and gains powerful new mechanical armor that allows him to fight alongside them. Now he must learn to control his new abilities and what it truly means to be a hero in order to aid Nezha and the Autobots in their mission to defend the world against the evil Shiji and the Decepticons.
