This article is about the department of Hasbro. For the crowdfunding site, see Hasbro Pulse#HasLab.
This is what you get when your thinktank is full of creative directors and no graphic designers.

HasLab[1] (2009-2012) was a Department in Hasbro headed by Rik Alvarez mainly responsible for developing Intellectual Properties for the Transformers brand. Composed mostly of Creative Directors within Hasbro, HasLab created pitches and production bibles for licensed content creators to develop into fully fledged Transformers media. The department also oversaw the creation of Transformers content and archived information about the Transformers brand in addition to other duties.[2][3][4]

Notes

[edit]
  • The HasLab logo uses a mixture of fonts drawn from various Hasbro brands. The "H" is from the Hasbro logo, the first "a" is from Tonka, the "s" is styled after My Little Pony, the "L" is from the Playskool logo, the second "a" is from Transformers, and the "B" probably represents G.I. Joe.
