- Fireflight is an Autobot Aerialbot from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2003 Universe toyline).

Fireflight is a member of the Micromaster Aerialbots, who combine into Superion.

[edit]In Aurex 1104.30-DB Zeta (a highly Primax-influenced universe), Superion was born from Dr. Brian Jones's attempts at reverse-engineering Maximus combiner technology and applying it to Mini-Con anatomy. - Universe Fireflight is a redeco of the Sixwing component Flanker, transforming into a Sukhoi Su-27 "Flanker" jet. He forms the right leg of the Aerialbots' combined mode Superion, though he can also be swapped with Silverbolt to be the left leg.
- Though the Micromaster Aerialbots were created as KB Toys exclusives, they barely showed up in the ever-shrinking chain. They saw more general release in Europe, and in the US eventually began showing up in other chains like CVS drug stores and Big Lots!.
- The toy's larger connector socket is approximately 5 mm wide, making Fireflight compatible with Powerlinx ports.
