Adding MSRP to wiki

Price Sources and Currencies
Hasbro Pulse is directly MSRP. Major retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc where the price is usually the same as MSRP. Be wary of smaller sellers who tend to have markups (ex. BigBadToyStore usually has $1 higher than MSRP). Exclusives should prioritize the price where it's meant to be sold.
The Brickset database for Lego lists the Pound, US Dollar, and Euro prices for their sets (ex Lego Prime is "RRP £159.99/$179.99/€179.99"). Don't know if we want to go that detailed for TFWiki so for simplicity's sake I will start by only adding USD, if more gets added down the road then so be it. Though not everything comes to US retail, such as the ROTB single packed Deluxes, so a separate currency needs to be used, maybe Euro or Yen?
Speaking of Yen, a lot of Transformers stuff originates from Japan/Takara markets so listing the Yen prices seems appropriate for those even if they get a US MSRP, like Masterpieces and Missing Link. As such I will be including JP Prices for such items.
Formats
I've made two formats for adding MSRP Prices, at current I am leaning more towards using STYLE 1
- Testing with SS86 Bumblebee
| STYLE 1
Add price in top parentheses. This is simple and convenient for most toys and does not need an extra line
|
STYLE 2
Add price as additional line under toy name. bit wasteful unless there is more info to be added, like additional currencies or price change
|
Format Variations
Reissues (particularly when price changes) Testing with SS38 Optimus Prime
| STYLE 1 (parentheses) | STYLE 2 (line) |
Multiple Currencies/prices (mostly Japan prices) Testing with Missing Link Convoy
| STYLE 1 (parentheses)
Missing Link
|
STYLE 2 (line)
Missing Link

"Takara variants", most probably aren't worth mentioning for recent releases are identical, but I bring this up because Takara's Earthspark line went back to doing its own classes with better paintjobs. Not sure if that makes it different enough to list the JP Price but testing some formats anyway. Test being done with Warrior Thrash since Takara prices him the same as a Deluxe class in their DX Lineup (yen price taken from takaratomymall.jp)
STYLE 1 (parentheses)
- Terran Thrash (Warrior, US$14.99/JP¥3850, 2023)
- TakaraTomy name: DX Terran Thrash (DXテランスラッシュ)
- TakaraTomy ID Number: ESD-09
- TakaraTomy release date: March 16, 2024
- Accessories: Sidecar/shield-blaster
STYLE 2 (line)
- Terran Thrash (Warrior, 2023)
- MSRP: US$14.99/JP¥3850
- TakaraTomy name: DX Terran Thrash (DXテランスラッシュ)
- TakaraTomy ID Number: ESD-09
- TakaraTomy release date: March 16, 2024
- Accessories: Sidecar/shield-blaster
Hybrid style (Takara as separate line)
- Terran Thrash (Warrior, $14.99, 2023)
- TakaraTomy name: DX Terran Thrash (DXテランスラッシュ)
- TakaraTomy MSRP: JP¥3850
- TakaraTomy ID Number: ESD-09
- TakaraTomy release date: March 16, 2024
- Accessories: Sidecar/shield-blaster
Style 1 test run (Airazor (ROTB) Toys)
- Studio Series

- Airazor (Deluxe Class, $24.99, 2023)
- Movie: Rise of the Beasts
- Hasbro ID number: 97
- TakaraTomy ID number: SS-107
- Accessories: 2 photon blasters, "Peruvian Jungle Discovery" backdrop
- Known designers: Evan Brooks (Hasbro), Yūya Ōnishi (TakaraTomy)[1]
- Released as part of the nineteenth wave of Studio Series Deluxe Class figures, Airazor transforms into a mechanical peregrine falcon in twenty-three steps, sharing the transformation engineering of the prior Kingdom Airazor toy. As such, she includes two "photon blasters" which can be handheld or mount on her forearms via 5 mm ports; these parts remain there in beast mode because this toy lacks the hip ports Kingdom Airazor used for storage. In robot mode, the bird head restricts Airazor's waist rotation if properly tabbed in. Her backdrop showcases where the Autobots and Maximals first meet.
- Airazor's official robot mode stock picture is mistransformed, with the robot feet not being turned around. This error is also carried over to the way she is packaged in box. The box renders also feature a much darker color scheme with dark brown and black plastics compared to the champagne gold of the final product, as well as omitting the silver Maximal symbol on her right forearm.
- As with all Studio Series Rise of the Beasts figures, Airazor is based on concept art and is one of the more inaccurate Studio Series toys compared to her final design, including a robot mode design not seen in the film.
- Hasbro revealed the figure on January 17, 2023. A minor packaging variant of Airazor was repacked in Wave 22, no longer using plastic-free packaging.
- Buzzworthy Bumblebee

- Accessories: 2 swords
- Known designers: Shogo Hasui (TakaraTomy)
- Included as part of the second Target-exclusive Buzzworthy Bumblebee "Jungle Mission 3-pack", this Airazor is another Deluxe Class iteration of the character. She converts into a very well-proportioned mechanical peregrine falcon using a different transformation scheme, with the bulk of her wings becoming her robot legs. As a result, her bird wings are not as articulated as her Kingdom/Studio Series counterparts, remaining static aside from a simple flapping motion. Playing around with the joints can allow for more poses, such as a perching position. Untabbing her bird head also allows for a neck turn, though this version lacks an opening beak.
- She includes two small swords for her robot mode to wield. They can store on her wings in both modes. Though not shown explicitly in the instructions, the feathers on the back of her legs can fit all the way into the groove, where it will softly lock into place.
- The Maximal symbol on Airazor's chest/bird noggin tends to be printed on rather haphazardly, usually rotated counterclockwise by about five to ten degrees. Airazor is also misassembled: her upper bicep pieces are on the wrong side. As the parts use ball joints and mushroom pegs, they can be swapped so the details on the upper arm line up properly.
- Rise of the Beasts

- Airazor (Deluxe Class, €27.80/JP¥3850, 2023)
- TakaraTomy name: Deluxe Class Airazor
- TakaraTomy ID number: BD-03
- TakaraTomy release date: May 27, 2023
- Accessories: 2 swords
- Known designers: Shogo Hasui (TakaraTomy)
- Outside of the United States and Canada, the Airazor from the Buzzworthy Bumblebee Jungle Mission 3-pack was available individually at general retail under Rise of the Beasts packaging. It was first sighted at UK retail.

- Airazor (Beast Battle Masters, US$5.99, 2023)
- TakaraTomy name: Kakusei Weapon Airazor
- TakaraTomy ID number: BW-05
- TakaraTomy release date: October 28, 2023
- Part of the third wave of Beast Battle Masters, Airazor is a little bird with a 4-inch wingspan. Unlike the other Beast Battle Masters, she features two weapon modes: a crossbow blaster and a shield-blaster combo. Airazor has a 5 mm post that allows her weapon modes to be used by other figures, which can also be used to attach her bird mode to compatible ports. The barrel of her blaster is also a 5 mm hole, making her compatible with numerous Fire Blast effects.
- This figure was first found in Thailand, prior to any official acknowledgment by Hasbro. Airazor was later found at Monroe's Walmart.

Messing with tables
experimenting with tables to see how they work/if they can be made to look better
- class="wikitable" has been added solely for the purpose of actually being able to see the columns and rows
Sample Table from Mediawiki Help:Tables
| This column width is 85% of the screen width | |
| This column is 30% counted from 85% of the screen width | This column is 70% counted from 85% of the screen width |
Table from Studio Series 2023 Exclusives
Goal: see if there's a good way to reduce whitespace on lower row. has been added to show what the table really looks like. Below is the orignal as a control reference.

Changes: added colspan, reduced 3 lines of space. removed extra |, not sure if they're actually needed for the table but they help readability when editing if anything. they're used on most the tables on tfwiki so idk.
- If "|" aren't removed then colspan=3 was needed to clear the right amount of space

Changes: Tried to make the header overarching but there's now extra space underneath. found out it's due to the image spanning 2 rows (automatic spacing?), not sure how to remove seeemingly fixed with height
