A seven-pointed staff is what? A septdent?

The Cyber Slayer is a multifunctional weapon in the form of a staff. It can drain and store power which then can be utilized for other purposes, though the primary intent for its use appears to be for draining the life force from Transformers. It can also transform into a tail for Mandroid.

Mandroid brought the Cyber Slayer to Earth with him when he returned from a body-changing trip into space. As a demonstration of its power, he used it to drain the energy from Shockwave. He later used it to corrupt Robby and Mo's cyber-sleeves and to activate his space bridge based superweapon, killing the Energon-infused Agent Croft in the process. Twitch managed to steal the weapon from Mandroid while she and Nightshade were breaking Bumblebee and Agent Schloder out of the G.H.O.S.T. base. The Last Hope, Part 1 Mandroid sent Optimus Prime and Elita-1, now under his control, to deal with the errant group, forcing them to use the Cyber Slayer to deactivate the two Autobots. The Last Hope, Part 2

The Cyber Slayer was stored in the Autobot base until Optimus decided to move it elsewhere following an infiltration of the base by Ravage. Learning of the plan, Starscream planned to ambush the Autobot convoy, though it turned out to be unnecessary as the Chaos Terran Spitfire stole the weapon and presented it to the Decepticons. The Imposters Starscream had Aftermath and Spitfire use the weapon to gain access to Terratronus, a Titan buried under Witwicky. Witwicky, Part 1 He would subsequently turn the weapon on the Chaos Terrans, killing them in order to claim the Embershards that gave them life so the Emberstone could be reconstructed and he could use it to gain control of Terratronus. Witwicky, Part 2

As part of a plan to deal with the chaos storm unleashed thanks to the destruction of the Chaos Dome, Optimus led a team to Terratronus's spark chamber where they reclaimed the Cyber Slayer as well as the bodies of the two Chaos Terrans. Judgement Day, Part 1 The Cyber Slayer was attached to Prime's trailer and used to absorb the chaos energies in their entirety, restoring Aftermath and Spitfire to life. Megatron was also able to use the Cyber Slayer to restore Prowl who had sustained injuries while trying to enact the plan. Judgement Day, Part 2
