KSI Sentry
From MediaWiki
- KSI Sentries are Decepticons from the Age of Extinction portion of the movie continuity family.

Transforming into a Chevrolet Trax, the KSI Sentry is a model of Transformer produced by KSI, and is available in an array of fetching colors. They've sure built a lot of these combat drones,[1] and they'd probably make for a pretty handy army if you needed one...
Fiction
Age of Extinction film

Multiple Sentries were among the KSI-built Transformers that Galvatron took control of. One of the Sentries shot down the Autobot ship when they attempted to retrieve the Seed from Joshua Joyce, while others were killed by Hound and Bumblebee when they were defending the humans. Yet more were victims of the Dinobots' charge and Optimus Prime's detonation of Lockdown's grenade. Age of Extinction

Studio Series

- KSI Sentry (Deluxe Class, 2018)
- Movie: Age of Extinction
- Hasbro ID number: 23
- TakaraTomy ID number: SS-17
- TakaraTomy release date: October 27, 2018
- Accessories: stinger blade weapon, "Hong Kong Pursuit" backdrop
- Known designers: John Warden (Hasbro)
- Studio Series KSI Sentry is a blue redeco of Stinger with a new head and weapon based on the movie design, transforming from robot to licensed Pagani Huayra and back in 21 steps. He comes with a cardboard backdrop display depicting the Hong Kong battle in Age of Extinction. Instead of the four saw blades that Stinger had, he comes equipped with a detachable claw/blade thing that makes his kibble weapon a bit more believable. Despite this he retains the four 'arms' on his back that the saw blades would mount to.
Movie Edition

- KSI Sentry (Tiny Turbo Changer, 2019)
- Series: 5
- Bag Code: A
- Released in Series 5 of Tiny Turbo Changers, KSI Sentry is an off-white redeco of the Soundwave figure from Series 1, transforming into a sports car of fictitious origin rather than a Chevy Trax. He features articulation at his shoulders and waist, and his hands are compatible with Cyberverse weapons and other small accessories.
- Series 5 only barely made it to retail. Very few retailers and virtually no online outlets offered this Series, and the few places they could be found, like Target, apparently got very very few of them.
Notes
- The KSI Sentries went unnamed both by the Age of Extinction film and Hasbro for several years until the release of the Studio Series toy. Before then, they were initially referred to as "Traxes" in an LA Times article discussing General Motors' Chinese marketing for the Trax car,[2] though this may have been a misunderstanding.
- Despite popular misbelief, they are not Vehicons.
Foreign names
- Japanese: KSI Sentry (ケイエスアイセントリー Kei Esu Ai Sentorī)
