- A Wal-Mart exclusive redeco of Cybertron Hot Shot with a color scheme inspired by Generation 1's Getaway, Breakaway transforms into a modified white Chrysler ME Four-Twelve concept car. He comes with a key that deploys transparent red wings from his spoiler when the key is inserted into the rear of the car. - This mold was also used to make Excellion and retooled to make "Shattered Glass" Goldbug.
Trivia
- Breakaway was originally designed for the 2008 Universe line as a new version of Generation 1 Getaway. The name did not clear trademark, and he (along with wave-mates Fracture and Crankcase) were shuffled into the movie line as exclusives.
