Types include:

  • Warrior Ground Soldiers (specializing in swords, fists, and energy shields)

  • Heavy Weapon Ground Soldiers (specializing in hammers)

They serve in contrast to the mass-produced aerial Seekers.

  • Elite Seeker / Ground Soldier (Multi-pack, 2025)
  • Game: Devastation
  • Accessories: sword
Released as part of the MTMTE Collection, Studio Series "Ground Soldier" is a redeco and new-head retool of the Earthrise Runamuck/Runabout mold, matching the colors of the Warrior variant pictured above complete with cel-shaded orange windows, although the rear-view window is painted black and the rear-side windows are left unpainted. It comes with a sword as its sole accessory. It was released in a 2-pack with the fellow generic Decepticon "Elite Seeker". As part of the MTMTE Collection, this pack was exclusive to Target, with a small amount of stock also available through Hasbro Pulse.

Notes

  • The Warrior and Sergeant variations are based on the Battlechargers (taking many elements from their Timelines toys), while the Heavy Weapon variation is based on Blitzwing.
  • The Heavy Weapon Soldier is the largest non-combiner character in the game, standing twice as tall as even Optimus Prime and Grimlock (and Blitzwing, obviously).
