Old River Valley appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

Driven by primal instinct after the destruction of his cybo-dendrons, Slag ended up in Old River Valley, where he ruined a cattle ranch maintained by Greg and his brother. The Autobots Jetfire, Jazz, and Ironhide were sent to stop the rampaging Dinobot and succeeded in doing so by turning his flamethrower towards his innards. Laserbeak observed the entire event and was caught in a rockslide from the battle. He was eventually recovered by Soundwave and the Mini-Cassette recalled Slag's rampage and the Autobot efforts to stop him to the Decepticons. Dinobot Hunt!
