After Nominus Prime was the victim of a suicide bomber, Ratchet operated on the Prime. After Nominus perished, the Senate released a statement that the bomber had aggravated a rust infection in his fuel pump. Hearing the broadcast, Ratchet noted to Orion Pax that Nominus' fuel pump had been in pristine condition, setting them on the path to unveil the Senate's conspiracy. Post Hoc
