With a new, incredibly powerful threat on the horizon, the Autobots and Decepticons take steps to prepare for a coming conflict.
Events
Part 1: "Portents"
The Earthforce have a meeting about the disappearance of the Skyboom, learning from Armada Scavenger and Overload that the weapon is part of a set of artifacts crafted during the Age of the Primes. The group assumes that the mysterious the Entity that fractured Cyber-City will come after it. At the Terrorcon camp, Armada Megatron, Armada Wheeljack, and Demolishor discuss their possession of the Skyboom. Wheeljack and Demolishor are just as concerned as the Autobots that the Entity may come after it, but Megatron believes that he can persuade it to not harm them. He also tells his comrades that he has a hunch on who the Entity is, but it is unwise to speak his name. They then send the other Terrorcons to destroy the final Cyber-City fragment, which will close the interdimensional nexus point that it created when it crashed into this universe.
Part 2: "Scavenger Hunts"
The Earthforce, this time led by Skids due to Laser Optimus being busy meeting with the rest of the Autobot leaders at the time, receive new orders to destroy the last piece of Cyber-City, which they've found using a scanner made with technology from the piece in Panama. The Terrorcons are already at its crash site on Devon Island in Canada, but before they can plant the thermal charges, they notice that the Earthforce has just arrived.
Part 3: "Cold Comfort"
As the Autobots search for the fortress, Blaster detects the Terrorcons' presence. He begins searching for escape pods in the area while Scavenger tells them that a need-to-know group neither he nor Overload were a part of had information about a group of weapons in reserve aboard the orbital platform which could combat the Entity. Once Blaster finds more pods, they begin to go towards their location. The Decepticons split up to find the Autobots and destroy the fortress, with Wheeljack telling his search party about the weapons.
Part 4: "Might of the Mini-Cons"
After a bit of searching, Skids and co. locate the escape pod, which contains the Mini-Con components of the Star Saber. Elsewhere on the island, Wheeljack's team finds their own trio of Mini-Cons, who form the Dark Saber.
Part 5: "Age of Primes"
The Sentius Twins convene to go over everything that's happened so far, all of which confirms that an ancient prophecy about a second Age of Primes is coming true. They deliberate over whether to follow their orders and allow things to pass or stop the Entity and save the universe. Regardless of what they do, the Entity's involvement means they must join in too. On Devon Island, Skids recaps his Optimus on what's happened so far, and his leader orders him to bring the team back to base. At their camp, the Armada Universe members of the Terrorcons - including their new Mini-Con comrades - discuss what their next step is, noting that not even their current stock of artifacts will be enough to fight the Entity. Jackknife also confirms for Megatron that it is who he thinks it is.
Part 6: "Alliances and Allegiances"
The Autobot leaders go over who they could seek help from, naming the Sentius Twins and the recently-resurfaced Vector and Nova Prime, but realize that none of them will help them. They then go over what Primal weapons they and the Decepticons have, and realize neither party is in possession of the Entity's signature weapon, the Requiem Blaster, which is either still lost or in its possession.
Part 7: "When Realms Collide"
Megatron persuades the Skyboom Mini-Cons into allowing him to use their combined form in conjunction with the Dark Saber to pinpoint location of the Requiem Blaster. Breakdown Prime then successfully locks onto its coordinates, discovering that it's in their universe, not another reality.
Part 8: "Dome Sweet Dome"
The Autobots use their Star Sabers to do the same, in the process also learning that the Blaster is in the hands of someone else: Metalhawk's eternal enemy, Bomb-Burst. While the three present-day Primes (Optimus, Optimus, and Rodimus) depart to take it from him, Alpha Trion remains at their base so he can continue trying to reach Vector Prima with Vector Sigma.
Part 9: "Gone but Not Forgotten"
Armada Megatron takes Wheeljack, Demolishor, and Breakdown Prime to get the Requiem Blaster from Bomb-Burst. Unfortunately for them, the dimension destroyer isn't too keen on handing it over and threatens to kill them so they don't expose his location to the Autobots or the Entity, also known as the Fallen.
Campaign: "Prime Relics"
The Autobots and Terrorcons venture to Isla de los Estados in search of Primal relics. They each retrieve one, with the sigil on the artifacts being recognized as that of Megatronus, the fallen Prime. However, their human allies, Melody Keen and Luca, are unable to access the ancient, primordial energies within the relics, forcing the two teams to return to the island to activate them there. They soon crack the codes, and runes are activated, summoning temporarily Megatronus himself to the battlefield to heal their wounds and empower them to finish their battle. However, after the fight is done, the relic runs out of power, and he fades away. Melody, Alpha Trion, and the recently-arrived Bomb-Burst inform their teammates of the fact that the structure on Isla de los Estados is actually an ancient Cybertronian one, and thus has more Primal energy stored within it, which will allow them to summon Megatronus more permanently. A battle ensues. In the aftermath, Vector and Nova Prime at last get involved, remotely telling Melody and Trion and Luca (respectively) about the need to build a containment structure around the relics using the Forge of Solus Prime.
Later, they physically visit them to warn them that they're playing into Megatronus' hand by bringing the Forge and Requiem Blaster together. Sure enough, when he appears in the next battle, Bomb-Burst loses the Blaster to him. The Sentius Twins visit the Autobots to tell them about how he's "piecing himself back together" with the power of the Primal artifacts they keep using in combat, while Bomb-Burst comes to that realization himself with the Terrorcons. Melody and Luca pinpoint the location of the Forge, and the two teams head there to find that a Primal Basilica has been built around it. The other Megatrons give Quake, their agent within their counterpart's team, orders to retrieve the artifact after all is said and done. Ultimately, the Basilica is destroyed, and Megatronus and the Blaster disappear.
Autobot ending: The Autobots walk away with the Forge, and Melody uses it to build their own Basilica.
Decepticon ending: The Terrorcons get their Forge after the battle, and Quake makes off it with it. Luca later uses it to build a Basilica for the Decepticons.
Part 10: "Age of the Primes"
Metalhawk and the Primes venture into Bomb-Burst's pocket dimension, which they realize is being used by Megatronus as a backdoor to enter their universe. Megatronus himself then appears and begins draining them of their energy, but they are saved by the timely intervention of the Terrorcons. The combined power of the artifacts forces the weakened Prime to fade out once again, giving them more time to prepare for his return.
Part 11: "Fuel Up"
The Autobots and Decepticons discuss what to do next, with both sides deciding that they need to find and claim the Requiem Blaster after learning from Alpha Trion and Megatron (repsectively) that the Artifacts of the Primes cannot be destroyed.
Part 12: "Armed & Dangerous"
The Autobots once again use their Artifacts to triangulate the Requiem Blaster's location and formulate a plan to deal with everyone else who will surely come after it. The Terrorcons do the same, devising a plot to repeatedly destroy the weapon whenever one of their many enemies tries to take it from them, and then re-triangulate its position to get it back.
Part 13: "Requiem for a Team"
Using their Artifacts, Optimus and Armada Megatron's teams begin the locating process. However, Megatronus gets on the same frequency as them, preventing them from dropping their weapons to halt the search before he can see the Blaster's location.
Part 14: "Dark Descent"
Both teams confront Megatronus once again, this time at an event horizon between universes, where the Requiem Blaster is located. Armada Megatron has Demolishor and Quake destroy it, but their efforts are rendered moot by a forcefield revealed to be the work of Soundwave. The other two Megatrons make their presence known and make off with the Blaster.
Part 15: "Lines of Communication"
Melody is having no luck finding the Forge of Solus Prime, but she puts forth the idea to also look for Solus herself, as she will know where it regenerates and when it happens. To do that, however, they first need to get in touch with Vector Prime again. Meanwhile, Megatron orders Soundwave to call in the Combaticons, who he sends on a mission to test-fire the Requiem Blaster, and have Quake bring Luca to them.
