Mirage stirs up some trouble.

Synopsis

[edit]

It's combat training day at the Autobot base, but Mirage is lazing around instead of training – he's confident that his special ability can carry him through any battle. Bumblebee decides to drag Mirage off to training himself, but Mirage proposes something more "fun": sneaking into Wheeljack's lab and fixing up a cleaning robot which is clearly marked with a sign saying "DO NOT TOUCH." With a little tinkering Mirage is able to get the thing to function... but it's not long before the device develops a malfunction and attacks the two Autobots in the name of sanitation! Mirage hastily disables the cleaning robot with a liquid fuel dart, but not before the commotion alerts Wheeljack and brings him running to the lab.

Just as Bumblebee is about to tell Wheeljack what Mirage did, Mirage uses his trademark invisibility jutsu and vanishes before Bumblebee can finish his sentence. Leaving an indignant Bumblebee and a confused Wheeljack behind, Mirage attempts to sneak away... only to run straight into Optimus Prime, who's not happy Mirage has been shirking his duties and making other Autobots take the fall for his misdeeds! However the "Mirage" Optimus grabbed turns out to be just another hologram, as the real Mirage transforms and makes a speedy getaway. With the troublemaker gone, Wheeljack brings his attention to repairing the cleaning robot... only to discover that Mirage has upgraded it to be even more dangerous before his departure, as it viciously attacks its inventor with a pair of drills and a laser beam!
