Events

Part 1: "Lines of Communication"

Melody is having no luck finding the Forge of Solus Prime, but she puts forth the idea to also look for Solus herself, as she will know where it regenerates and when it happens. To do that, however, they first need to get in touch with Vector Prime again. Meanwhile, Megatron orders Soundwave to call in the Combaticons, who he sends on a mission to test-fire the Requiem Blaster, and have Quake bring Luca to them.

Solus Prime (Decepticon)

Solus Prime reacts with surprise at Megatronus' answer to her summons, as he didn't attend the last meeting of the Thirteen. He tells her that he will always answer her call, even though, as she reminds him, he and his new master oppose the Grand Plan. She asks why he really came, and he explains that he believes that she's having her own doubts about the plan since their race descended into the chaos of the Earth Wars. He adds that, while he will hear her out, he does not trust her, hence why he brought a companion—Bomb-Burst! She tells him of her disappointment in him, and he tells her that he sees her true self now: a "player of games" who supplies everyone with ultra-powerful weapons and then wonders why they always fight, and now she will reap what she has sown.

Notes

  • Solus Prime's debut event, "Forged By Fire", featured no narrative content beyond her and her artifact's own introductory dialogues.
  • This arc's story content was subject to an enormous hiatus of nearly three months before being dumped all in a lump in a pseudo-recap (in actuality broadcasting 7 of 8 installments for the first time) partway through the next saga.
