In a world without humans, a ragtag band of Autobots try to survive as Megatron manipulates his counterpart.
Synopsis
Awakening, SARA finds herself in a dense jungle teeming with wilderness. She's greeted by the still-injured Hot Rodimus who, while thanking her for taking them out of danger, notes she was reckless to open a dimension gate in her weakened state. SARA turns to Dinobot and asks for his name. The confused Decepticon creation tilts his head at the question—since his birth, he's just been termed the "Slaughter Machine Dinobot" and had been attacking others based on instinct without thought to anything else. Recognizing his need for a name, SARA dubs him "Grimlock", the name of a formidable and brave warrior with many incarnations across the Spacetime World. The Dinobot takes delight in having a name to show his bravery and strength, delightfully repeating it over and over as he wags his tail. Brawn chimes in with a summary of their current situation: they're in the 10-BS Spacetime with no humans on the planet, but they're aware of local Transformers warring. The atmosphere is rusting their untreated bodies, but, more importantly, underneath them flows Angolmois Energy, a powerful force that can be used for justice's pursuit of life or for evil's destructive purposes. Rodimus thinks SARA can use this energy to recharge herself, but the demigod notes that the Angolmois Energy has recently become volatile and they're better off playing it safe. The energy does provide a benefit, though—while Megatron can likely track down the spacetime SARA is in, her exact location will be hard to discern with the interference from Angolmois Energy. Having conveyed their situation to the Autobots in Cloud Spacetime via spacetime communication, they just need to wait till SARA can recover...
Also with them is Roadbuster, member of the Autobot special combat team known as the Wreckers. Tasked with solving issues across spacetime, Roadbuster should be accustomated to the situation he's stuck in, but he despairs over losing Ironfist, his comrade on so many battlefields. He doesn't quite trust "Grimlock", but is nudged to relax his suspicion by Brawn. SARA introduces herself to Roadbuster, thanking him for defending her life. Moping, Roadbuster wishes to be alone, but SARA wants a word with him.
As the Galvaburg II harvests some Angolmois Energy streaming from a cliffside, Megatron meets with Galvatron, Emperor of Destruction of the Predacons. Sightly mocking his choice of a name, Galvatron asks the visitor what brings him here, to which Megatron simply replies that he's seeking a small thing compared to the energy contained within the planet. He is there to politely inform his fellow "Predacon" of this and takes his leave. Gigastorm doesn't take well to him, but Galvatron, recognizing the formidable power within his guest, calls a search of the planet for even the smallest anomaly.
Awaiting for their superiors outside the Predacon ship, Deadlock takes in the experience of a whole new world, but Starscream is dismissive of yet another "muddy and dull" spacetime. Hellwarp, on the other hand, enjoys having wide open skies to dominate. Leaving the ship, Shockwave warns his master that the Predacons are dangerous, but Megatron wryly notes that they'll just have to see what happens.
In the jungle, SARA tries to strike up conversation with Roadbuster; the Wrecker has transformed into vehicle mode to hide his awkwardness. He may be a great warrior, but he's completely lost on the battlefield of emotions, especially connecting with somebody as small and delicate as SARA. Sharpened to a sharp edge in battles across spacetime, the concept of just relaxing in peace, as they are now, is foreign to him. SARA takes it in stride, saying that all Roadbuster needs to do is talk. They are interrupted, however, with the sighting of a large cyborg wasp in the sky. Dirgegun reports to Galvatron that he's spotted some strangers. Knowing the danger they're in now, SARA leaps into Roadbuster and the two speed away with Grimlock following. The latter is soon confronted by a smaller cyborg dinosaur, Thrustor. Roadbuster wants to abandon the Decepticon creation, but SARA's pleads hit him deep down and he turns to assist. They're luckily joined just in time by Hot Rodimus and Brawn. The Predacons aren't without reinforcements of their own, with Hellscream and Max-B arriving. Gigastorm and Galvatron emerge from the woods; the leader introduces himself, asking the visitors who they are and where they come from. Not receiving an answer, the Predacons prepare to attack.
"Shaaa, that's enough."
Horrified, Roadbuster recognizes the voice. It's Hellwarp!
In the Moon, Artemis and Moon observe the events occurring on the planet. Moon notes that the mysterious girl accompanying the visitors is cuter than his partner, which earns him a vengeful strike. Artemis worries not understanding what's happening and if Hellscream will fall for SARA.
