The Earthforce and Terrorcons go on a mission to close the interdimensional gateway between their two universes.
Synopsis
[edit]Part 1
[edit]Skids gives the Earthforce their new assignment. Brawn grumbles about how soon after the last mission it is, but Skids assures him this one will be fast and easy. He, Inferno, and Armada Scavenger explain that, per Perceptor, the last segment of Cyber-City is keeping the portal between their universe and the home reality Laser Optimus, Armada Megatron, and their compatriots open. If they close it, the Entity trying to enter this dimension will have to open a new one to come, which will allow the Autobots to be notified when it arrives. Hoist inquires about how they'll find the cloaked fortress fragment, to which Trip-Up replies that Wheeljack was able to put together a device to detect it using salvaged parts of the piece in Panama. The Primes are busy working on deciphering who the Entity is, so Laser Optimus will not be accompanying them on this mission (to Beachcomber's delight). Scavenger assures them that no one is still inside this fragment, as all the escape pods launched prior to the crash, but Gears reminds him that that means there could still be bots scattered about the surrounding area.
Part 2
[edit]Meanwhile, on snowy Devon Island, Demolishor leads the Terrorcons through a blizzard and towards the Cyber-City fragment. Acid Storm and Gatorface are annoyed with his rudeness towards them, but Armada Wheeljack tells them that he's not good with thoughtful conversation. Demolishor orders the group the spread out to quicken the search, and while the team initially believes they'll never find it, Acid Storm almost immediately bumps into the fortress. Breakdown Prime prepares to plant the thermal charges, but Demolishor has him move him out of the way so he can level the place with his arsenal. Deluge stops him, pointing out the presence of the Earthforce.

Gameplay
[edit]This event was a U.S. Independence Day-themed individual totaliser, meaning players earned points Kremzeeks and unlocked prizes on their own as opposed to with their Alliance. The top prize was a Blue Firecracker chest containing either 5 blue Kremzeek battle boosts, 150 5-Star C.O.M.B.A.T. Shards, 10 Premium C.O.M.B.A.T. Chips, or a Gold or Gmetal Building Power Core Chip, and due to the event having 10 prestiges, it could be earned multiple times.
