Events
Part 1: Ways and Means
In a meeting with Optimus Prime and Prowl, the Earthforce request that be given full autonomy to protect the Earth while the other Autobots deal with the larger, more cosmic-scale threats that they've been so focused on fighting as of late. Optimus approves. Meanwhile, at the Decepticon base, Megatron assembles a team to go on a similarly smaller-scale mission to retrieve geothermal energy from New Mexico.
Part 2: Back to Basics... Again?
Half of the Earthforce wait at the geothermal well for the Decepticons to fall into their trap. When they arrive, they come under fire from them. Meanwhile, Megatronus Prime and Bomb-Burst watch, and as the Decepticons prepare to retreat, a new C.O.M.B.A.T. Bot appears.
Part 3: The Heat Is On!
On the Autobot side of the battle, Sundor shows up to destroy the enemy's defenses. On the Decepticon side, Ratbat appears to take command and change their plan from a retreat to a weaponization of the energy they've been battling over. Curiously, both claim to have been sent for by someone on the respective teams they've joined, and the requisition requests do indeed have their names on them, but neither bot remembers putting one in in the first place.

Character stories
Sundor
Sundor explains to his fellow Autobot C.O.M.B.A.T. Bots how he was changed by a Space Bridge accident involving sunspots, which sparked a departure from the Decepticons and gave him Teflon coating and solar abilities. Peacemaker notes that it's still hard to trust him, saying that, for all they know, it could be an elaborate scheme to infiltrate their ranks. After all, he did appear out of nowhere in their last battle. Sundor promises to prove himself, while Peacemaker warns that he'll be keeping a close eye on him.
Ratbat
Ratbat remarks that the Decepticon C.O.M.B.A.T. Bots need better organization, but Ravage tells him that they don't trust him at all. Ratbat argues that just because there's no digital trail explaining his surprise appearance, that doesn't mean they should be suspicious of him. Terror-Daxtyl, meanwhile, is offended that he thinks they've been doing things wrong for a decade, which Ratbat affirms, pointing out that they've had an unimaginable amount of in-fighting in those ten years. The example he cites, after Ravage brings them up, is the three Megatrons still fighting for control of the faction. He explains to them that his plan is to organize his fellow C.O.M.B.A.T.s into a semi-autonomous fighting force, adding that they need to take charge of the Earth Wars and begin thinking multiple sagas ahead.

Notes
- As with "Third Armada (Part 2)", this saga's events lacked any accompanying story dialogue, with the exception of "Questionable Comrades", which, like "Guardian Devil", came with a "recap" of the whole thing. With the help of the game files (which have "All on Tape" as a six-part saga) title drops in each unnamed chapter of the two extra-long Autobot and Decepticon dialogues, the corresponding events have been determined and we have backfilled them with the necessary story information.
