Animated cartoon continuity

The Autobot Commonwealth was founded by the then nascent Autobot faction during the Age of Expansion some 750 million years ago. The era came to an end after several border skirmishes with the Quintesson Pan Galactic Co-Prosperity Sphere which the Commonwealth bordered from thereon out. During the Great War, many of the Commonwealth's planets were destroyed. The AllSpark Almanac II The Complete AllSpark Almanac

According to Sentinel Minor, the Commonwealth had an industrial capacity five times greater than the Decepticon Empire and potentially ten times larger a military force. He also opined that the citizens of the Commonwealth had too much individual freedoms and spent too much money on frivolities such as "the arts" and "scientific research". If Sentinel were ever made Magnus, he planned to nationalize industries and conscript the citizens of the Commonwealth into waging a new war on the Decepticon Empire. Sentinel Shouting

Beast Wars: Uprising

The Autobot Commonwealth was a system of majestic eco-structured colonies built by the Autobots before the end of the Great War. Lio Convoy had learned of it in his education, and it was one of the few things he knew about the greater expanse of space beyond Cybertron. Broken Windshields

Notes

  • Neutral systems and planets located within Autobot Commonwealth space included: Archa, Beast, Lithone, Odessyx, and half of the Rigel System; while part of the Skeleton Nebula is within Autobot space.
    • It's unclear if it was Rigel III or VI that was initially the neutral half of the Rigel System, but the 2015 release of The Complete AllSpark Almanac meant that Rigel IV and VII were now likely added into the mix.
  • While it's apparent that it's within the Autobot Commonwealth, Swindle's map does not include either the Hadeen System or any of its other celestial bodies, besides Cybertron.
