The denizens of the Legends World discuss what has happened with the Transformers brand of late.

Synopsis

Rattrap introduces New Legends, the revival of Legends. But he realizes people don't remember a franchise that ended seven years ago and concludes that all of the Beast-themed material coming out of Transformers has caused that (although he isn't too mad about it).

To rekindle interest in themselves, Rattrap introduces himself and other Legends World natives in Metals forms, but the others are either just confused or find the entire thing to be passe. Rattrap takes a different approach and changes into Kingdom-style, which terrifies the others with his realistic rat features.

  • The title is taken from the Japanese Beast Wars Metals title for "Aftermath".
  • Rattrap mentions other beast-themed franchises in the past seven years, including Rise of the Beasts, Kingdom and Wild King.
  • The beast characters take on new forms harkening back to the Transmetal forms promoted under the Beast Wars Metals brand.
  • Cheetor's "I feel like I could fly all the way to Takao" is a reference to a running gag from the Japanese dub of Beast Wars Metals and Beast Wars Returns. In those dubs, Cheetor jokes that he fell asleep on the train and rode it all the way to Takao—the terminal station of the JR Chūō Line in Tokyo.
