Cheetor (Legends)

Cheetor is a native of the Legends World from the Legends portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Lazy and irresponsible, Cheetor is a salaryman at Axalon Trading Company by day. By night, this "head of partying" can be found living it up drinking heavily and singing karaoke.

Fiction

Legends World

Cheetor greeted the newbie Rattrap at Axalon Trading Company. While Rattrap introduced himself in an unorthodox way by naming his favorite cartoon, Beast Wars, Cheetor responded that he didn't watch cartoons. The Generation Gap Part 1 He later happily informed President Optimus Primal that he was leaving on time and not working overtime. The Bathroom Gap When Primal went out for a bit, warning his employees not to touch his bananas, Cheetor and the others were so tempted by the forbidden fruit that they immediately began eating them. Cheetor loved to party and have fun all night, and as a result was often exhausted at work in the morning. Though the Axalon employees were expected to work in robot mode, he at one point was so tired that he forgot how to transform, turning into a mess of cheetah parts. Head of Partying, Cheetor Another time, he got so drunk he fell asleep on the train and ended up on the final station of the line in the middle of night. On returning to work, he joked to Primal about paying for his travel expenses and room charges, to his boss's annoyance. Cheetor at Night One day, having overslept, Cheetor decided that since he was already late to begin with, he might as well take his time and have a long shower and breakfast before heading to work. Cheetor listened to Rattrap deliver a report while stuck in the mouth of Dinobot, The Two's Recent Encounter was confused when he arrived at work in the form of a real Transformer after being inflicted with Transformers sickness, LG01 Rattrap and hung around when Optimus Primal was thinking about said sickness. LG02 Optimus Primal Transformers sickness later turned Cheetor into a tall and slender version of himself, which he didn't enjoy, LG03 Tankor Prologue and he was present when Rhinox was getting jealous of everyone turning into Transformers. LG03 Tankor During Rhinox-turned-Tankor's rampage, Cheetor was hit by his '80s-ization beam and turned into a classic delinquent. LG05 Whirl

During Christmas, the Axalon employees threw a party during which Cheetor got drunk and sang karaoke. Merry X'mas!! The height of Cheetor and everyone else at the company bothered Rattrap, who wanted to be big too. LG08 Swerve & Tailgate While returning home one morning after a night of partying, he ran into Rattrap, who was jogging in order to grow stronger. LG09 Brainstorm Another morning, after yet another party, he found Tigatron praying at a shrine. LG11 Chromia Cheetor was present when Windblade attempted to destroy their world and was defeated by Metroplex, and afterwards told Rattrap that Metroplex had transformed into city mode on top of the Axalon office building, destroying it. Cheetor was around when Arcee decided not to fight her Transformers sickness but remain a giant robot. Arcee Chapter After the Axalon employees accepted that Metroplex was their new office, Cheetor had some fun with the gun turrets on the city-bot's head. He was freaked out when their mysterious janitor claimed to know about Metroplex because he was from "the other world", thinking he'd meant the world of the dead. Mysterious Knowledgeable Grandpa Chapter Cheetor was caught up in a Nightbird clone rampage, LG15 Nightbird Shadow and was around the office when Rattrap and Tigatron tried to justify their lateness to Optimus Primal. Go! Adventure When Deadlock appeared in their universe, Cheetor didn't recognize him and had to have his identity explained to him by Waspinator. He and the others were then temporarily sent to Deadlock's home dimension, Cloud World, when SARA messed up. LG-EX Deadlock

Grand showed the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors an image of Cheetor and his friends as an example of what to expect from the Legends Universe. LG24 Shockwave & Cancer Prologue During a partnership between Axalon and the Autobot Headmasters, Cheetor was annoyed by Blaster's music, LG27 Blaster briefly became a Nightbeat-type Headmaster himself using mass-produced Master-Braces, LG28 Rewind went to work with a hangover together with Hardhead, LG30 Weirdwolf and applauded the completion of their new headquarters, Maximus. LG31 Fortress Maximus He then fled from an attacking Mindwipe, LG34 Mindwipe played Straxus in the Transformers: Convobat Amazon Showdown movie but got the line "Transform!" wrong, LG-EX Convobat fled again from Mindwipe, Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher, LG35 Super Ginrai and took up riding Astrotrain's commuter train to work. LG40 Astrotrain

Cheetor was among the victims gobbled up by Trypticon during his rampage, LG43 Trypticon but was fine and continued to inhabit the rebuilt Neo Akihabara City. Targetmaster Chapter Prologue He then went on to witness Hot Rod battle Scourge, LG45 Targetmaster Hot Rod get turned into a Beastformer by White Leo, LG51 Targetmaster Doublecross and watch as Broadside arrived in the Legends World. LG53 Broadside Cheetor had fallen asleep on the train again when he was awoken by the smell of silvervine. Late Xmas Present Chapter

• Cheetor's tendency to fall asleep on trains or otherwise evoke long journeys to Takao stems from a running joke in the Japanese dubs of Beast Wars Metals and Beast Wars Returns.
