Ginrai wakes up one day as... Magna Convoy?
Synopsis
[edit]Ginrai, now working for Blurr's delivery service, wakes up transformed into a blue Autobot, much to his confusion since he's not from the Legends World and shouldn't be affected by Transformers sickness. The locals recognize his new body as that of Magna Convoy, who Waspinator explains is the last member of the Primus Vanguard, the blue corps. Even he doesn't know which dimension said group is from, so in search of an answer he uses the ultra-drill to pluck a similar Autobot, Delta Magnus, from the G1 World. Magnus has never heard of the Primus Vanguard, explaining that he belongs to the Primal Vanguard and does not believe Magna Convoy's group exists in his universe.
Delta Magnus proceeds to explore the Legends World with his friend, Marissa Faireborn, but returns to find his trailer missing. It's been borrowed by Ginrai, who still has a job to do and finds it useful for his deliveries, but his work is interrupted by the Decepticon Headmaster trio who deem him an easy target now that he's just a normal robot. Ginrai proves them wrong: espousing the power of his soul, he combines with Delta Magnus's trailer into "Super Magna Convoy", a form so large it sends the Decepticons packing without a fight. Ginrai's customer Nightscream is impressed and asks him to appear in his next Convobat film, but while he excitedly agrees, he finds himself reverted to his human form the next morning. With Nightscream disappointed in his change of appearance, Ginrai desperately tries painting his transtector blue so that he can still be in the movie.

Transformers references
[edit]- The Super Magna Convoy combination is a reference to Magna Convoy and Delta Magnus both being based on Diaclone Powered Convoy toy used to make Ultra Magnus, Magna Convoy being based on the inner robot and Delta Magnus on the outer armor.
- Ginrai has a risque picture of Ai in his bedroom, recalling the infamous KT Figure Collection figurine.
