Minor is an Autobot and Maximal military rank.

In an Autobot military organization, Minor is a military rank or title somewhere below Prime, and probably below Major.

Minors may fulfill roles similar to a Drill Sergeant.

Trivia

• The appellative 'Minor' was first used for the 1998 'Optimus Minor' toy, but was not confirmed to be a rank until the 2008 Transformers: Animated cartoon. Prior to settling on Minor, the production team considered calling the clone of Optimus Primal "Optimus Junior" in reference to the very similar relationship between Lio Convoy and Lio Junior.
