Rebirth Megatron sets off his final move to use the power of solitarium.
Synopsis
The Autobots' foreboding since the return of G1 Megatron is finally broken in summer, when the Decepticons unleash chaos across Earth in their final grasp for solitarium. In Japan, Lio Convoy faces off against Beast Megatron while [[Star Saber (G1)|Victory Saber fights Gigant Sniper in London. As those and other battles continue, a column of water emerges from the Bermuda Triangle near Florida. The Decepticons' triangular arrangement of solitarium energy amplification devices cause the column to freeze into ice and push it further into the sky, spreading its frozen crystals into the stratosphere and causing freak weather all over the planet.
After receiving report from Delta Seeker of a triangular formation of energy signals and Rebirth Megatron in the vicinity, an angered Optimus Prime realizes that the Decepticon activity around the globe was a distraction to occupy most of the Autobot troops. Taking who he can to stop Megatron, Prime leaves the Autobot base in the hands of a skeleton crew and set out. They're met by Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, but the Seeker trio are distracted by Optimus Primal and Psycho-Orb, allowing the Autobots to pass by.
Reaching Rebirth Megatron, Optimus Prime demands to know why his rival is causing so much destruction and what he needs all this energy for. Megatron simply replies that through all his travels across worlds, he's realized the absolute truth—all unified under him would be a wonderful world. For that he needs solitarium... and Prime's Matrix. The Decepticon leader shoots Optimus Prime square in the chest, killing the Autobot commander and pilfering the Matrix. He commands his men to gather all of Earth's solitarium...
