Brimstone (TF 2010)
| The name or term "Brimstone" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Brimstone (disambiguation). |
- Brimstone is a Decepticon from the movie continuity family (via the 2010 Transformers toyline).

Brimstone is getting older, but he's determined to make sure that everyone realizes he's still the big bad "king of the road." He's kept this self-declared title by roughing up those who get in his way, but Hubcap, the only Autobot who dared oppose him, is determined to finally put an end to his bullying now that the two are on Earth.[1]

Crankstart, Brimstone, and Trenchmouth were having a hell of a time in Salt Lake City, Utah: with the Autobots' popularity wrecked, they got to do some wrecking of their own and PARRRRR-TAY! Both Brimstone and Trenchmouth followed Crankstart's lead, and he cheerleaded the larger 'Con as he wiped out the local police. The trio drove off to have fun in Nevada too...
...when the Autobots hit, and hard. Brimstone was the first to go down, blown away by rapid-fire from Hubcap and Slap Dash. Shadow War
Unite for the Universe
[edit]After Starscream, high on the power Project: Unite granted him, attacked various human installations, Megatron became furious that he would so without his command. Soundwave, on his behalf, sent Brimstone and Thundercracker to intercept the rogue Decepticon. Thundercracker was shot down with little difficulty. Brimstone soon followed his teammate when Starscream transformed and plunged his claws through Brimstone's torso. On the Road of Destruction
IDW movie comics
[edit]Brimstone was one of the Decepticons under Starscream's command who attacked Sam Witwicky in an attempt to capture Brains. Bumblebee, Sam's guardian, quickly came to his aid and smashed Brimstone into pieces with a mighty punch. Rising Storm #2
Toys
[edit]Transformers (2010)
[edit]
- Brimstone (Scout Class, 2010)
- Japanese ID number: AA-10
- Known designers: Tomoya Miyake (TakaraTomy)
- Part of the initial wave of 2010 Transformers: Hunt for the Decepticons Scout Class toys, Brimstone transforms into a "chopper" motorcycle of undetermined model. In cycle mode he has a working kickstand to keep him upright. In robot mode, aside from the triple-bladed "hands" made up from his front tire, he also has small flip-out "fingers" hidden in the wheel hubs for when he doesn't need to slice stuff up.
- Due to Brimstone's lanky build he features rather impressive articulation for his size class, only hindered due to his lack of ankle joints. The figure also features metallic paint for all green flame detailings.
- The TakaraTomy Autobot Alliance release features a slightly darker, more silvery gray plastic instead of the Hasbro version's pale light gray.
- This mold was also used to make Chopsaw.
Notes
[edit]
- Brimstone's alternate mode is based on a motorcycle in Mikaela's garage that Wheelie momentarily hides behind in Revenge of the Fallen.
- Someone should tell him that he pissed Motormaster off.
- Much of Brimstone's robot mode looks, his transformation scheme, and his head design are based on the Cybertronian design Don Figueroa made for Manterror to be used in flashbacks in the IDW Beast Wars: The Gathering comic book, with the notable exception that he has an Earth mode instead of turning into a Cybertronian motorbike.[citation needed]
