Wow, Flint said all that?

As lethal as it is elegant, the Combat Jet XP-14F Skystriker—a modified version of the famous [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}F-14 Tomcat|{{#if:||F-14 Tomcat}}]]—was the Joe team's first air combat vehicle and served alongside a host of would-be successors such as the Conquest X-30. The primary operator is Ace, although other Joes have been known to fly it on occasion.

G.I. Joe and the Transformers

After Power Station Alpha was hijacked, several Skystrikers—including one piloted by Ace—were among the units tasked with intercepting it. In typical form, they had the Cobra Rattlers dropping like Waspinator... err, flies. Power Struggle A number of Skystrikers were also used for the assault on the Decepticon base in Florida, where they teamed up with both Rattlers and Aerialbots to fight off Decepticon planes. ...All Fall Down!

When neither Action Force's artillery nor the Autobots could stop Megatron, Flint ordered in the Skystrikers: by bombing the gas refinery Megatron was in, he hoped they'd take out the robot before he entered London. And they did! Ancient Relics!

Prime cartoon

[edit]

The Skystriker was the mass production version of the aircraft used by Agent Fowler. He rallied a squadron of them to join in Ultra Magnus' assault on Darkmount. Though they were on standby for immediate deployment, they found the wait lengthy as Magnus' team was captured by the Decepticons. However, the timely arrival of a reformatted Optimus Prime quickly turned the tide in the Autobots' favor, and when Magnus reported their leader's return, Fowler scrambled the squadron. After Optimus disabled Darkmount's fusion cannons, the Skystrikers brought Darkmount crumbling to the ground. Rebellion

When Major Bludd and his Blood Hounds attacked the Pit prison in an effort to kill Duke, he and his allies used a number of decommissioned and experimental vehicles in order to fight back, which included a Skystriker that Duke himself commandeered. After forcing the Blood Hounds to retreat, Duke flew the Skystriker to a hidden M.A.R.S. facility in Colorado. Unfortunately, he was shot down by Scrap-Iron and his Anti-Armor Drone. Duke #4

An exclusive release for San Diego Comic-Con 2011, this is a redeco of the 2011 new-mold Sky Striker in Starscream's colours. It includes Cobra Commander in a flight suit, wielding a "human-scaled" Megatron pistol. It also comes with a whole load of missiles, and an enormous number of stickers.

Advanced technology of mimicking older stuff.

    • Accessories: Booster engines, four AIM-9 short-range missiles, four AIM-7 medium-range missiles, two AIM-54 long-range missiles, TARPS pod
Exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con 2013, "Autobot Jetfire" is a redeco of the same Sky Striker mold as Starscream. Jetfire features an opening cockpit that can seat a figure. The set also comes with a redecoed VAMP representing Hound, a new Snake-Eyes figure bearing an Autobot symbol, a Baroness figure with Ravage on a leash, a Bludgeon figure, and a Blaster boombox with cassette pieces representing Steeljaw, Ramhorn, and Eject.
