- Highjump is an Autobot Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Highjump is a loose cannon cop on the edge who doesn't play by the rules, not even his own. He coined the motto of the Off Road Patrol, "Don't follow orders, follow instincts." He's apparently a skilled assassin.[1]

Zone story pages
When Victory Saber initiated the "Zone Project", the Off Road Patrol helped rebuild planet Micro into the new and improved planet Zone. To counter this threat, Violen Jiger began conquering worlds to build his own Decepticon Zone. All the Micromaster teams, including the Off Road Patrol, were then mobilized to patrol the galaxy, specifically planets where their special abilities would be most useful. Early on, the Off Road Patrol were sent to scout a rocky, mountainous planet. Zone Part 1
Later, King Poseidon and Trypticon were sent to conquer the aquatic world of Wall. The Off Road Patrol engaged them in battle and with the help of Commanders Roadjet, Cra-Gun, Missilebull and Skywave, they emerge triumphant. Zone Part 3
Dreamwave comics continuity
Highjump and Powertrain were hanging out in Little Iacon, discussing the Decepticon recruit named Blaze Master. They had tagged him as a possible change-over from the 'Cons to the Autobots' side. Highjump was also present for Big Daddy's race with Roadhandler. The Gray Race When Venom's troop attacked Little Iacon, he fought back against the Decepticon guzzlers, but ended up taken prisoner along with the rest of the Autobot Micromasters. Generation 1
- Off Road Patrol (Micromaster Patrol, 1989)
- Highjump transforms into a gray Land Rover Defender off-road truck of undetermined model with a roof-mounted winch. He was only available in a four-pack with his teammates Mudslinger, Powertrain and Tote.
Trivia
- Highjump's vehicle mode and transformation are reused from an ambitious, yet unproduced Headmaster design patented in 1987.[3]
