Really? Sentinel is supposedly emulating Bush in this episode, and not Nixon or McCarthy or some such?

Really?KrytenKoro 12:38, 9 May 2009 (EDT)

He's imitating both, but the note at the end of the episode about making tough choices to protect, would do it again etc... was Bush. Neither Nixon nor McCarthy ever made those kinds of decisions-- even Nixon just inherited Vietnam, he never ran a fist strike. -Derik 13:43, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
Granted, I missed the first five minutes of the episode, so I only saw the stuff after Sentinel first saw Omega (so if he led some kind of preemptive strike on the Decepticon colonies, I missed it). But honestly, if his behavior in this episode is even meant to be a parallel, one to Bush is...rather flimsy. I mean, I dislike Bush and all, but I still don't remember him ever even trying to imprison political dissidents, no matter how much some said he would - even after they started outright vandalism and destruction of property. Plus, he didn't launch any "first strike" without congressional approval - and a big bit of this episode was Sentinel deciding to mobilize everything on his own. Hell, John Tyler looks like it would fit better, such as how he achieved the presidency and Congress' response to it.KrytenKoro 18:31, 9 May 2009 (EDT)

Saur/Zaur

Since our article for Saur currently lives at "Saur," I've cleared out all the links to 'Zaur.' We can place the animated Article there with no conflicts.

(This might change, since IMO the official spelling of Zaur should count as an official spelling for the G1 'bot's name as well, but we can stick the Animated 'bot's article at "Zaur" (Wyatt's spelling) while we debate that. -Derik 14:02, 9 May 2009 (EDT)

Capitalization

Shouldn't this page be at This is Why I Hate Machines, not This Is Why I Hate Machines?--86.87.28.191 14:03, 9 May 2009 (EDT)

I had the same thought, but I'm not sure. -Derik 14:06, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
"Is" is a verb. Verbs are capitalized in titles. It is only short prepositions which are uncapitalized. --ItsWalky 14:11, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
I see... it depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is! -Derik 14:38, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
Fuckity. It's not like me to forget that "is" is a verb.--86.87.28.191 16:13, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
Short prepositions (the general limit seems to be four letters) and conjunctions. (Hence, title capitalization that seem weird to some, like "The House that Wheeljack Built!" The "that" in that phrase is actually a conjunction.) —Interrobang 16:33, 9 May 2009 (EDT)

Continuity error

Your continuity error isnt one. Starscream states that Megatron managed to unlock the transformation of Omega supreme and to control the transwarp system, but not the weapons.

A true continuity error lies in the fact that when Omega transwarps at the end of the episode its in robot mode, and then it comes out of transwarp in ship mode. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.247.43.111 (talkcontribs) 17:34, 9 May 2009.

Yup, all Starscream does is complain about not having control over Omega's weapons, though it's Lugnut who says that Megatron regained control of Omega's transformation and transwarping. (Undecided) 19:08, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
