Along with the rest of the Heavy Hauler Team, Steel-Belt accompanied Modus Prime, Broadside, and the Urban Renewal Team to Altihex's abandoned energon refinery. There, they were attacked by what appeared to be a deranged Autobot - in actuality, however, it was a cobbled-together killing machine remotely controlled by Broadside. In the ensuing chaos, Steel-Belt was killed. The New World
