Beachbreak was among the Autobot reinforcements who came to Earth to join Optimus Prime's team. He and the other Autobots headed to Zambia to stop a group of Decepticons. Unbeknownst to them, however, they were being drawn toward Victoria Falls. Everyone got out in time, except Optimus Prime and Macerator. Starscream saved Macerator from certain death, but Optimus Prime was left dangling. Beachbreak heroically went back into the danger zone to save his leader, towing him up. Unfortunately, Starscream blasted the diminutive Beachbreak over the edge to his death. The Veiled Threat
