- Cosmos is an Autobot from the 2007 movie franchise in the live-action film continuity family.

Cosmos very rarely sees direct combat action. In fact, his specialty is staying out of the action, providing reconnaissance as well as acting as a relay for communication, helping to pass important messages to those in the thick of things.[1]

Cosmos was present on the command bridge of Optimus Prime's ship as it was being readied to launch and intercept the All Spark and Megatron. He did not get a station in the Star Destroyer-like sunken console pit; instead he got to stand around topside, like one of the officers. The Reign of Starscream #1 Centuries later, following the defeat of Megatron, Cosmos was part of a team of Autobots led by Arcee. While in orbit of Mars, he reported the arrival of Starscream in the planet's atmosphere to the Arcee and the rest of the group on the planet's surface. The Reign of Starscream #2
Notes
- Cosmos was unnamed in his initial Reign of Starscream appearances, and his alternate mode was a mystery. Artist Alex Milne confirmed his identity and altmode in comments on his DeviantArt page[2][3]. He was named in the exclusive content in the Reign of Starscream trade paperback and in later appearances in Defiance. His spacecraft mode was also revealed in Defiance.
