Nightstick (SG)

Nightstick is part of a new breed of Micromaster known as Targetmasters. He is the diminutive partner to the psychotic Ricochet.

Fiction

Shattered Glass

When Ricochet decided to hatch a scheme to capture Megatron, Nightstick was by his side. Megatron arrived at the Temple of Knowledge and Ricochet stepped out of the darkness along with his small companion. Megatron was confidant that he could easily overcome Ricochet and the diminutive Nightstick, but then the Targetmaster weapon transformed and blasted the Decepticon. Megatron was captured.

Optimus Prime was enraged with Ricochet's plan and arrived to scold him. Things went awry when the Decepticon Micromasters broke up the party and Megatron escaped his cage. Stealing Ricochet's weapon was a bad idea, however, as Nightstick was able to take control of Megatron's arm, firing wildly. Optimus Prime snached up Megatron's weapon, Rumbler, and activated its sword. Optimus charged, but Megatron was able to maneuver his body so the sword sliced through his wrist. Megatron's hand, and Nightstick, fell to the ground, and Megatron recalled Rumbler to his side.

Ricochet's plan had failed, and the Autobots retreated. Do Over

Part of a low-run regular-retail "X-Dimension" redeco of the Armada Emergency Mini-Con Team available only in Japan, Prowl transforms into a Cybertronic police car. He also has a third "pistol" mode that can be held by most larger Transformers that use 5mm holes as weapon-mounts. He came in a set with Firebot and Makeshift.

This toy was repurposed as "Shattered Glass" Nightstick. This mold was also used to make Checkpoint, Groove, Kingbolt and Quasar.
