Scrawney is a Titanian from the cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Scrawney is a sad excuse for a Titanian who just wants to keep his starving family fed and the Sky Gods pleased. Jero doesn't make it easy for him, and neither do the Decepticons once they arrive.

Bringing his offering of fruit to the temple for the Sky Gods, Scrawney was rebuked by Jero for the amount of fruit he had offered. Perhaps fortunately for him, the ceremony was interrupted by an attack by Talaria and her band of rebels. That night, as the Titanians sat around the fire, Talaria tried to convince them that the Sky Gods were false, but Scrawney clung to his belief in the Sky Gods. A belief which seemed vindicated when, a short time later, a real Sky God crashed to the ground nearby. Unfortunately this was soon followed by the arrival of Astrotrain, Starscream and Thrust, who posed as Sky Gods and enslaved everyone.

He and two other Titanians encountered Jazz and Perceptor in the Fire God's lair and asked to be destroyed, as the Transformers had destroyed their faith. The two Autobots maintained that the Decepticons had been lying to them. Indeed, once the Decepticons had been routed, they triggered a chain reaction in the energy crystals. Scrawney, along with the rest of the Titanians, was whisked to safety by Omega Supreme and began rebuilding their city at a new location. The God Gambit
