I'm gonna go swim with my nieces. I'll take another round at this tonight and add the Yoon-catching, and then the kata.
FYI, it my intention to specifically block this template from functioning in the main namespace. This template will produce terrible phoenic renderings from Hiragana and Kiragana, and those don't belong in articles; we take the time to get the article content right. But it seems like a very useful tool when discussing shit on talk pages, or simply for quickly romanizing a word in "preview" when you need to figure something out. -Derik 17:06, 14 August 2009 (EDT)
Doesn't recognize the small tsu-katakana correctly: it's supposed to double the following consonant sound, but it's romanized by the utility as "tsu". For example: トレッダー = Toreddā, but {{romanize|トレッダー}} produces {{#replace:
