This article is about the Autobot Aquaspeeder. For the Decepticon "color changer", see Deluge (Decepticon).
Deluge is an Autobot Aquaspeeder from the Generation 2 section of the Generation 1 continuity family.

After me, the, uh, me.

Deluge may just be a common soldier, but he's strong, smart, fast, untiring, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. He probably takes home stray glitch mice and helps old female Autobots cross the street. Despite all this, the brass sees no better use for him but as his unit's designated rear guard. Life is unfair.

Deluge probably gets very confused when other Autobots call him Drench.

Toys

Generation 1 & 2

  • Deluge (Aquaspeeder, 1993/1994)
Sold only in European, Australian and New Zealand markets, Deluge transforms into a LeMans-style race car. As he is an Aquaspeeder, he has a double-barreled water-cannon that uses a plastic bellows to store water, which is usable in both vehicle and robot modes. His hood/chest changes from dark green to a milky-white with temperature changes, but faster in cold or warm water.
Deluge is very similar to the US Color Changer Drench. The most obvious differences are that Deluge uses transparent-pink plastics for his windows and visor, and that he substitutes a blue chest and blue stripes for Drench's black. The two also have differently colored decals.
The non-toy Shattered Glass Drench shares this mold, looking basically like G2 Drench with red eyes.
