Hasbro Q&A/October 2009: Question submission

From MediaWiki

Transformers Wiki participates in Hasbro's roughly-every-other-month Question & Answer session. Our site will be allowed to submit three questions to Hasbro's Transformers team for answering. If you're a registered user at our site, please add your question below!

Keep in mind that Hasbro is not likely to tell us about future product they are not ready to reveal, so keep those sorts of questions to a minimum. Please be as thoughtful about your question as possible! We will similarly reject questions like, "Hasbro, why do you suck so much?" The better and more useful the question, the more likely the admins will choose it to be one of the three submitted. We also reserve the right to edit your question for clarity if need be.

Each registered user can ask one question at this time. Please bullet and sign your question. The deadline for your questions is the evening of TBA, and answers will be sent back on TBA. If you're a registered member and for some reason you can't edit this page, ask your question on the discussion page, then I or Monzo will move it here.

October 2009 questions

  • Will we see a Human Alliance Optimus Prime/Tommy Kennedy? --ItsWalky 09:24, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • Why are certain molds made of better quality metal than others? For example, the Seacon molds are degrading after being used three times, but the Combaticon molds are only showing signs of mold degradation after eight uses. Why is this? ---Blackout- 09:34, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • What are the chances that Transformers 3 will end with Bob Newhart waking up to realize that the whole Movieverse was nothing more than a dream? --Kilby 09:38, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • Beast Wars Ultra Transmetal II Tigerhawk has four wheels on his wing assembly that were intended for a third mode that was dropped at some point in development and replaced with an attack mode. What was this mode supposed to be, and can the released toy convert into it? --FortMax 09:47, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • Based on past releases, it seems to be possible to repair older molds to restore detail lost with repeated use. Specifically, the G1 Jazz mold appears to have had its face detail corrected between the 2003 U.S. reissue and the 2004 release of the mold as Ricochet. Are there limits to how much damage can be repaired, or is it just a matter of whether it's economically feasible to repair a mold? Hooper_X 10:30, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • We now know that the voise of the Universe cartoon Optimus Prime is Ron Hayden, but who are the Voises of Megatron, Cyclonus and Bumblebee in the episode "Fight for Energon"? Are there also more episodes planed now the Universe line ended?--Sunjumper 10:59, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • Is there any possibility of actually using the old Generation Two faction symbols again? Homages to the Generation Two line thus far have failed to use these symbols.--G.B. Blackrock 15:02, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • Most Transformer combined modes have a name of some sort. Does the combined (ice cream truck) mode of Skids and Mudflap? - Starfield 15:24, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • The concept of relatives is a little strange in a species that doesn't reproduce by human methods. As such, what is the basis of the many established familial relationships among Transformers? How do things like Sideswipe and Sunstreaker being brothers, Shattered Glass Crasher and Blurr being cousins, some Transformers having parents or children, etc. work exactly? --Jeysie 22:47, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • What misconceptions about the Transformers development, marketing, sales and distribution processes frustrate the Transformers team the most? --Awa64 22:52, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
  • So, there are lots of look-alike Constructicons in the film Revenge of the Fallen. According to the toys, Rampage is the yellow bulldozer able to combine. While there is a red bulldozer credited "Skipjack" but called "Rampage" by Starscream during the film. The question is: Are there two Rampages in Revenge of the Fallen OR the yellow bulldozer is Rampage while the red one is Skipjack just as the credits (— which means Starsream's line is an error)? --TX55TALK 02:37, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
  • Is there going to be another Transformers cartoon made to be shown on television since Transformers Animated is over? TFgirl 20:47, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
