The biggest movie of last summer was released to DVD on 10/20/2009. Are you prepared? Do you know your exclusive transforming case from your extra seconds of metal smashy-smashy? Here's what you need to know:

Region 1 General Retail

Hundreds of retail chains across the United States are offering ROTF for sale, from grocery stores to pharmacies to gas stations. Almost all retail versions of ROTF will be some variation of the three sets listed below.

Single-disc release - (approximately $15.00)

  • All editions of ROTF include the following:
    • Revenge of the Fallen in widescreen format
    • English, French and Spanish language tracks
    • English, French and Spanish subtitles
    • Michael Bay, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci commentary track
  • The Blu-Ray version is in 1080p format, upgrades the audio tracks to 5.1 Dolby Digital and adds a Brazilian Portugese subtitle track.

Two-disc Special Edition - (approximately $22.00)

  • This version includes all the features above, plus a second disc containing:
    • Extended scenes
    • Linkin Park music video for "New Divide"
    • A ton of documentaries, as follows:

Four-Disc Blu-Ray Special Edition - (approximately $48.00)
