Andromeda is an evil Autobot reporter from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.

Andromeda is one of the news anchors for ABN, and can be seen filling in for Rook on Around Cybertron whenever he's not available. She's just as fond of ambulance-chasing as the rest of the ABN news crew.

Shattered Glass

While Rook was "on vacation" after accidentally revealing the news of Megatron's demise to Optimus Prime, Andromeda filled in for him. She was going to interview Mirage, former bank robber-turned-Ratchet-experiment, but then she heard the news that there was a coup being attempted against Optimus Prime. She ran off to cover the story, leaving Mirage feeling abandoned, and Rook free to take his beloved newsdesk back from her. Around Cybertron #7

• "Shattered Glass" Andromeda's appearance in Around Cybertron #7 is the first time an incarnation of Andromeda has been shown as more than just a head. She thus presumably has the same body design that TransTech Andromeda would, but with blue and yellow body colorings, hot pink eyes, and black "hair", lips, and around her eyes.
