That'd be "Zebop Skandana." One E and a K. - Chris McFeely 11:09, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Dag

Seems that Dag didn't actually speak - no-one is listed in the script with that name. The name is from the master "cast list" document, which also specifically lists "man" (the chap who gives out the passes) and "doorman" (duh) identifiable by these monikers in the script itself. He might've had some written lines that didn't make it to the final recording. - Chris McFeely 18:25, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh!

Please, help me in this! I'm sure that my signs are no worse than these existing already!--He-l-en1959 05:31, 29 November 2009 (EST)

Maybe, you'll write me what Transformers' names in Russian you need? And what I must do - to write them in Russian letters or to transcribe the Russian names by the "English letters"?--He-l-en1959 09:33, 29 November 2009 (EST)
  • To the point: I am rather a "youngster" in "Wiki" but I have already some articles about the Transformers in "Википедия" (the Russian version of the "Wikipedia")--He-l-en1959 12:47, 29 November 2009 (EST)
  • I need your advice. It seems that there isn't an article about the animated "Armada" Starscream. If I'm right, can I try to write this article? And how I can do this? Or, maybe, it is too insolent of me (because of my "newcomer" status and poor English)? Answer me, please. --He-l-en1959 03:27, 30 November 2009 (EST)
Yes there is... --Detour 03:40, 30 November 2009 (EST)
There is quite another range of name-writing in the articles… May I repair everything or better "aping" the existing order in so-and-so article?--He-l-en1959 03:58, 30 November 2009 (EST)
As I know, almost all TF series are translated to Russian (except of "Scramble City", "Zone" and "Beast Wars II")--He-l-en1959 04:10, 30 November 2009 (EST)
Waz-z-z-zpinator answerz-z-z-z: yez-z-z, I had seen (and even bought) some TF toys, but they were of Chinese production, so I don't know many about their originalz-z-z-z. Z-z-z-zorry… --He-l-en1959 15:43, 30 November 2009 (EST)

G2 Annual

Hey, somethign you said made me wonder- do you have the G2 annual? -Derik 09:50, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Sooo.... -Derik 13:31, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

BWII Predacon Ship

You have all those fancy BWII guidebooks, so I figured it would be easier to ask you. What's the name of the ship the Predacon's used in BWII? This one, namely: http://www.bigbot.com/beast_wars_2/pictures/cartoon_tv_show/11_Danger_Scissorboy/17_DarKSidE.jpg And while I'm at it, any name for the Maximal's ship? Thanks --DrSpengler 20:53, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Oy! Thanks, Guvnuh! Yukikaze does indeed translate to "Snowy wind" and also happens to be the name of one of the Trainbots from Headmasters. It's a rather popular "kewl" name in Japan, for some reason. I recall there being some anime of the same name, as well. --DrSpengler 01:30, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

The Greater Ape

I saw that you posted something about Primal falling in love in an unproduced Beast Wars episode called "The Greater Ape." This has made me curious. What do you know about this episode? Do you know whether it made it to an outline, a script or storyboards or anything? Do you know anyone who still has a copy of any of the material having to do with this episode? I think it would be really cool to read this lost story. Thanks. Unicronspawn 23:31, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

All we know about it was told to us by the story editors at BotCon 1998. Rob Powers wrote:
A season 1 episode which never got past the concept stage would have been titled "A Greater Ape", and would have had Primal getting bonked on the head, subsequently thinking he's a real gorilla, hanging out with a bunch of other real gorillas, and hooking up with one of the females of the pack before being restored to normal [NOTE, this episode was NEVER MADE and in all probability NEVER WILL BE MADE]...
It was shelved because the episode would have required too much new modelling, and thus was cost prohibitive. --ItsWalky 23:40, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

so your famous?

So i saw that your username inspired a part of the new universe Onslaught toy huh? Thats pretty cool! Are you gonna buy one?Destro oy 19:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Destro Oy

Yeah,i'm sure it has nothing to do with the Transformer called Monzo--Decepticon Rhinox 11:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh yeah, but the birthdate on the tampograph matches the dude with the username's birthdate, so it has everything to do with our Wiki editor. --Detour 11:53, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh,cool.--Decepticon Rhinox 12:36, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
He also got props in the bio for Universe Acid Storm. --FFN 14:22, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Is there a reason that Monz is getting all this awesome love flung his way? - Chris McFeely 15:20, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

I can only assume he has the negatives somewhere safe.--RosicrucianTalk 15:33, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

For the Onslaught tampo, though... Is it 1/27/82, or is it 12/78/2, or 12/7/82, or what? 142.167.160.126 20:09, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

Clones

Out of curiosity, how were the official qualities revealed? Also, do you know if they'll be given real names (as references to the Seekers), or just something like "Sycophant Clone"?KrytenKoro 02:33, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't know anything about the future of the clones. "Coward Starscream" and "Sycophant Starscream" are the names listed on their model sheets. --Monzo 02:54, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Would these model sheets happen to be online? I'd really like to see them, I love the Starscream clones.KrytenKoro 03:06, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Category sorting

Hey, Monzo. There's already something that does that automatically for all categories on the article: {{DEFAULTSORT:}}. Just put what you want the page to categorize as after the colon (i.e. {{DEFAULTSORT:McFeely, Chris}}). —Interrobang 05:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Caption explanation

"If you want to keep your beer cool, stick it between her legs..." is an allusion to the "frigid bitch" whose vagina is cold, for reasons you can discern.

...Not that I care about it being in the article, mind. —Interrobang 06:21, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Actually, the caption is meant to be a Red Dwarf reference, as all the other Starscream clones' main images are (though the Liar Starscream caption has since been changed). All of the captions referred to the character Rimmer, who was a snivelling, self-obsessed, decietful (did I spell that right?), two-faced coward. The Female Starscream caption specifically referred to an ep which featured a female Rimmer (though the actual line was "If you want to keep your beer cool, stick it between his legs...", but meh. Universe pics elswhere

So, you're saying I should put the Universe pics in their area? Like, Prowl in the Deluxe area, Bumblebee in Legends, ect.? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.253.51.107

Good show on the JP BW images

Jolly good show! --FFN 03:11, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

Headmaster heads

I cleaned up and uploaded the Generations images aaaaages ago, and never linked them to anything - use away at them if you wish! - Chris McFeely 08:50, 7 November 2008 (EST)

Thanks

Thank you for posting an answer to my question, I appreciate it. I'll try for another one for Hasbro. Cheers, and grats for your Hasbro nod. SteamFan42 00:56, 23 November 2008 (EST)

Movie screencaps

As you requested, I've begun to replace and delete screen captures from the 2007 movie as I deem necessary. --FFN 23:51, 25 December 2008 (EST)

Onslaught Six

I know he's been here two years. But check his contributions, in two years it's just been talk pages and messing with captions. --Detour 03:07, 3 January 2009 (EST)

If he's a registered user and isn't actively adding stupidity, I don't see where it's our place to say he can't fiddle with the captions. We don't really have any official policies regarding this matter that I'm aware of, and we really shouldn't, because the idea of creating policies about who can make jokes is asinine.
In any event, there wasn't a caption on that image to begin with, so I don't see the harm in him adding one. (Whether or not I think it's actually funny is another matter.) --Monzo 03:18, 3 January 2009 (EST)
Oh, I see. Thanks for straightening that out for me. --Detour 03:34, 3 January 2009 (EST)

Takara Omnibot bios

I saw in Talk:Downshift (G1) that you quoted from Downshift's Takara bio. Are these online somewhere? Or could you post their full content? Thanks! - Jackpot 16:26, 10 January 2009 (EST)

The Japanese bios are available (in Japanese) on these pages:

You may be better off asking Doug to translate them personally, as my reading was based on a combination of auto-translations and thus may contain errors. --Monzo 17:38, 10 January 2009 (EST)

Did you just UPLOAD this with a SPEEDY DELETE tag? - SanityOrMadness 21:50, 31 March 2009 (EDT)

I'm going through a section of the wiki image server image by image, because there's a bunch of images that exist on the server which the wiki does not recognize. If I don't re-upload them, they'll just stay hidden on the wiki server forever and ever; at least this way, even the images we don't want can be properly dealt with. --Monzo 23:30, 31 March 2009 (EDT)

Shattered Glass Dreadwind

Would it be okay if I recreated that particular page? There's no point having dead links lying around, and we've already got a page for Darkwind. ---Blackout- 07:53, 5 July 2009 (EDT)

Parentheticals and franchise of origin

...alright, you and Interrobang need to talk, because we can't be re-moving these and changing all the links every three months.--RosicrucianTalk 01:50, 15 August 2009 (EDT)

Chevy Autobots

Hey Monzo... I'm pretty sure you were the one with the Chevy Autobots archive. I've got a few additions.

  • A [May-10th e-mail http://rapidshare.com/files/268483256/chevyautobots_battlebeginsnow-email.pdf] sent out to users announcing the official opening of the contest. (This originally had pictures in the background... but I'm not sure what of, since they're of course loading off the now-defunct domain. Presumably of whoever your 'contact' was at that point in the campaign. Sphinx?)
  • Some miscellaneous .swf files from the game. These aren't playable themselves... but combined with a .swf decompiler, they'll allow you to view the whole finale sequence.  :-) (I wish I'd saved them all, but I never expected the site to just vanish like that. At least I've got the most important ones.) -Derik 16:12, 17 August 2009 (EDT)

Vinnie D'Alleva Article

Hey there, were you planning to add the info from this article any time soon? If not, may I do the honors? There's some mindblowing info in there in regards to Beast Wars and early Transformers designers that I'm itching to add.--MCRG Again 19:00, 16 November 2009 (EST)

Mega's armor pic

Were you planning on reuploading the screencap elsewhere? Because screencaps are generally preferable to character models when the image is in the Fiction section, aren't they? --Detour 04:17, 20 November 2009 (EST)

I wasn't planning on re-uploading the screenshot anywhere, no. I assumed that because Chris McFeely both wrote up and screen-shotted the article himself that there simply aren't any better images of her in her armor within the series proper. Thus, I figured that the model shot worked better than the screenshot because it showed the entire design. (The screenshot isn't terribly context-specific, for that matter, so I didn't feel any qualms about replacing it. I plan to change Giga's, too.) --Monzo 04:25, 20 November 2009 (EST)
Well I'm no Masterforce expert but I'm pretty sure the general rule for images in the fiction section is to use images from said fiction.... --Detour 04:27, 20 November 2009 (EST)
I actually remember there being a conversation about this a while ago... ah, here it is.
http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Image_talk:Primal_FPUnivBio.jpg
It doesn't look like the issue was really resolved. In Mega and Giga's cases, though, the art isn't even in a different style from the show, since it's their colored character models - Walky's issue of stylistic difference doesn't apply. The purpose of the original two images was, simply, to show them in their armor, which these do, but now you can see their leg details. I don't really see a good reason to NOT use these pictures. --Monzo 04:41, 20 November 2009 (EST)

Ultraplane

Hey, while you're looking at scripts, can you please check "Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 1" and see how Ultraplane is parsed? We've got it spelled four or five different ways in various articles. :) --abates 00:08, 4 December 2009 (EST)

Battle for the Convoy Cup

Man, when I heard Protoman was asking this week's stumpin' question, I knew he was going to ask about this manga! He mentioned it in passing in a YouTube review a couple of months ago and I told him to wiki it but he hasn't yet (HEY PROTO DO IT) and nobody seems to have ever heard of it otherwise! - Chris McFeely 08:25, 31 December 2009 (EST)
