I may be misremembering, but I seem to recall that not every city-state is an orbital torus state. The polar states were something different, I think. It's possible the polar states are stationary, while the torus states move in some fashion.--RosicrucianTalk 12:19, 9 January 2010 (EST)

The following have all been designated OTS: Praxus (Age of Wrath 2), Protihex (The War Within 3, The Dark Ages 6), Kaon (The War Within Preview), Iacon (Ultimate Guide), Altihex (The War Within 1), Kalis (The Dark Ages 1) Uraya (The Dark Ages 4}, Nova Cronum (The Dark Ages 3), Polyhex (Ultimate Guide). That's not all, I'd believe, but so nearly all it might as well be the same thing. My guess is that either the two mean the same thing in different takes on Cybertron (as Dreamwave, if I have seen it correctly, is fairly unique in its depiction of Cybertron), or that OST refers to the whole physical "patch", whereas city-state means the political influence. I have to hunt down the word city-state yet to make a comparision. Geewunling 12:30, 9 January 2010 (EST)
I'll re-read when I get home from work. For some reason a distinction between polar states and torus states is sticking in my head, but I'll have to make sure I'm not hallucinating it.--RosicrucianTalk 12:42, 9 January 2010 (EST)
