Metrosquad

The Metrosquad is a Decepticon subgroup from the Zone portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

They're not too fond of metrosexual jokes, honestly.

The Metrosquad (メトロ戦隊 Metrosentai) are Violen Jiger's secondary force, though they are considered the equals of the Nine Great Demon Generals. As a matter of fact, the Demon Generals instructed them in the "ways of evil", handing down all their sinister secrets.

The Metrosquad consists of:

• Metrotitan (leader)
• Metroshot (deputy leader)
• Metrobomb
• Metrodash
• Metrotank

Zone story pages

Following his activation on Saturn's moon, Titan, Metrotitan formed the Metrosquad. Their first mission was to attack the Autobot Lunar Zone Base commanded by Rabbicrater and destroy it completely. Zone Part 7

As Metrotitan destroyed Galaxy Shuttle, the Metrosquad kept Sonic Bomber busy. Zone Part 8

Eventually, Metrotitan and the Metrosquad were defeated by the arrival of Road Fire and his fearsome "Fire Kick". Zone Part 9

The entire Metrosquad was available in a single big box. Of course, it helped that four of them were technically the same single toy; being redecos of the Metroplex toy. Metrobomb was added to the set, presumably because the larger Autobot toys also featured Micro partners.
