- In addition to adding a clear table of contents section to the interior front cover, a trend that would continue for the duration of the Transformers Comic Magazine run, the publication began to utilize the interior back cover for various black and white images. Issue #5 includes a clear uncolored rendering of Junkion 2, one of the two Junkions shown with the Transformers Universe profile of Wreck-Gar.
